The February TGIF will be at Forbes Mill restaurant in the bar area. The address is 200 Sycamore Valley Rd. west in Danville and the phone no. is 925-552-0505. The restaurant is in the Livery Shopping Center next to Piatti Restaurant. Happy hour is from 3 - 7 pm. See you there!
1st Par Tee Tournament of 2012

One of our favorite courses, providing a genuine test for all skill levels. The course is one of the most well maintained in the Bay Area and drains well, making it a good choice for a February tournament.
Cost: $55 Format: Medal Play-Net Start - 10:30 a.m.

After Tournament Dinner
Please join us for Dinner after golf at Vic Stewart's, 2270 Balfour Rd, Brentwood. 925.240.2828. Check out their menu selections on website, www.vicstewarts.com (Click on Brentwood). You'll notice the menu items are more reasonably priced than the Walnut Creek location. Please indicate on your Tournament Sign-up Form if you will join us for dinner. If you need to cancel; or if you decide later to join us for dinner, please email "deedre formusa" <d4musa@gmail.com>, or Janet Gray (jeg9ster@gmail.com) by February 16. Vic Stewart's will provide individual checks for each guest. Also, considering their payment policy for groups of 8 or more, it will be much easier and quicker if you bring cash to pay your restaurant bill. Directions from Shadow Lakes Golf Course to Vic Stewart's: Turn left out of golf course onto Balfour Rd; Vic Stewart's is .09 mile on the right.
TGIF Survey Results:
Thanks to those who returned the TGIF Survey. The majority voted to have the TGIF's at one location and the first choice was FAZ in Danville. Also, many of you suggested going somewhere different at least a few times a year, so to honor your requests, we decided to have the Summer TGIF's at different locations, such as Izzy's, and Vic Stewart's. Therefore, the 2012 TGIF Schedule will be as follows:
February 10 - Forbes Mill Steakhouse (this was already scheduled prior to the survey)
March 9, April 13, May 11, June 8 - FAZ in Danville
July 13 - Izzy's in San Ramon
August 10 - Jack's Brewing Co (Outside Patio) in San Ramon
September 14 - Vic Stewart's in Walnut Creek
Oct 19, & Nov 9 - FAZ in Danville

As a new policy, certain events, i.e., social functions, golf tournaments, will be permitted to be advertised in the Par-Tee newsletter. These events or functions must be beneficial to our membership and should not be of a "for personal profit" nature. All non-sanctioned postings will be decided upon by and under the discretion of the Web Site Master.
