Please join us for our first Par Tee TGIF of 2010, January 8, at Massimo Ristorante in Walnut Creek - 1604 Locust St. 925-932-1374, starting at 5:30 PM.  There is a parking garage across the street and also one further up a couple of blocks away.  Meter parking on the street is available and the meters are enforced until 6:00 PM.  Max, the manager at Massimo is offering us complimentary appetizers for us, so when you leave it would be a very nice gesture to thank him for the appetizers and tell him how much you enjoyed his restaurant. If anyone wants to stay for dinner please call and make your own reservation as it is very difficult at the last moment with all the changes people have.  See you on January 8, 2010 at Massimo's.  Let's have a great start for the New Year!

Happy hour from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. featuring $4.00 drinks for their tap beers, martinis, house red and white wines.  They also have a special appetizer menu, prices from $4.00 to $10.00 that are half price during happy hour.  Music usually starts at 7:00.

The March 12th TGIF will be at The Farmers Restaurant, 855 Main Street, Pleasanton, CA 925-399-6690.  Drink prices range from $5.00 to $7.00.  They do have a Happy Hour, but it ends at 6:00 p.m.  Their band starts at 8:00 and it's called The Michael Paul Band (country western).  There is a large dance floor for those who want to two-step.  Dinner reservations can be made for their main dining room.

They will be offering Happy Hour drinks from 5-7 AND will offer party appetizers for us.  Please
come to join us on May 21, the third Friday this month as our away tournament falls on the third
week end in May.  The weather has been so beautiful and it is time for all of us to get out and mingle

We will congregate in the bar area and if the weather permits they have a friendly patio area with a bartender outside in the back.  Judy will be there around 5:30 to save a few tables for us.  This has been a landmark in Lafayette for the past 60 years  offering wonderful margarita's and tasty food.  If you wish to stay for dinner, please make your own reservation as Friday's become very busy for them.  They have happy hour from 3-6, which means one dollar off of their house margarita's and one dollar off their draft Budweiser and Coors.

The TGIF will be at Laurus Bistro at Blackhawk Plaza, 3483 Blackhawk Plaza Circle, Danville, CA 94506.  Phone 925-984-2250.  Their happy hour is from 3-6pm. Cocktails, martinis and beer $5.00 and appetizers from $2.00 to $6.00.  This a beautiful setting with the ponds and waterfalls.  If you want to stay for dinner, please make reservations ahead.  Also, there are several other restaurants in the plaza in which to dine.

Jane will be using her sport court & lap pool for various golf games.  There will be a putting course on the court… miniature golf, and some pitching into the pool (whiffle balls) at targets etc.  Prizes Galore.  Dinner will consist of chicken breasts, hamburgers, salads, & desserts.  Bring your bathing suit…move the targets.  Dancing optional.

Peasant and the Pear, Danville

The TGIF will be the first Friday in August as our monthly golf tournament is the following week.  The Peasant and The Pear is  Located at 267 Hartz Ave, 925-820-6611. 
We had a wonderful time last year and they are looking forward to Par-Tee's coming again.  They are reserving the tables in the front of the restaurant outside for us to order appetizers, drinks and dinner.  We will be listening to the music and chatting with our wonderful friends.  See you there starting at 5:30 pm.
